Sleepy Joe says he has the solution to the labor shortage, patriots, and it’s gonna make us all a little less safe this Christmas season. He says he’s gonna just…abandon the border for 4 days in order to “allow enough workers in to staff our understaffed service needs.”
That’s right, patriots. Sleepy Joe wants to take away jobs from Americans and let illegals take them. He says it’s a “simple solution to a complex problem.”
What does he even mean, patriots? I mean…think about it. If there are more people willing to work our lowest-wage jobs, who will we say is refusing to work them in favor of welfare?
Sure, his solution is probably the best one. The people who left the workforce for the gig economy, or to work remote as a writer or customer service specialist, or any of the other multitudes of new opportunities the pandemic presented to the poorest Americans, are gone.
So…we can either hand out some more green cards or we can keep waiting 40 minutes at Wendy’s, because they still haven’t figured out how to make Baconators and keep the lobby open with 4 workers at the new wages Americans demand.
Wow this became far more complex than I expected.
