ABC Will Axe The View This Spring: ‘It’s Become Too Controversial’

The View has had a rocky road lately. The show has been wrought with controversy after controversy for the better part of a year now.

It all started when Whoopi and Joy started bickering over who hated Megan McCain more, right up until she left. Then there was the Rittenhouse debacle, which is going to end up costing the network tens or even hundreds of millions.

This week, they found out that Whoopi and Joy have both been feeding inside information to a fake news website and collecting a kickback when they fool people into clicking. They couldn’t possibly be more corrupt.

The View’s producer, Joe Konders, says it wasn’t a very difficult decision to make:

“It’s simple. They’re too controversial. They can’t just keep spouting their political opinions day in and day out. That’s not the job. So, we’ll just have to cancel.”

None of Thye View’s hosts were available for comment. We did catch up with Director Art Tubolls, who books the animal acts and cooking segments. He said even those got weird. “Right in the middle of tasting a gluten-free cookie, Whoopi starts talking in critical race theory,” Tubolls told us, “I knew right there it was over.”

It’s official, patriots. We won’t have to watch The View ever again. What a great day.

God bless America.
